A Midas in deep green sparkle

Are you coming? We’d be really happy to see you, and Copenhagen is always well worth a visit.
Reiner and Meik
Another SINGER with a 32-inch (81 cm) scale
04. 09. 2012
This short medium-scale four-string instrument with 19 mm string spacing is unbelievably easy to handle, ideal for bassists who have problems with a normal 34-inch scale. Forceful and versatile – there’s nothing “small” about it in terms of sound. A fully fledged fretless with a massive, multifaceted sound. Also available with frets.
New pickups, a new bridge, new pot knobs
24. 06. 2012
About three months ago, Reiner woke up in the middle of the night and went straight to his computer. The result was a modernisation of Herr Schwarz 4.
New pickups, a new bridge, new pot knobs.
The angular thumb rest on the pickups feels great when you’re playing. Thanks to the three-point screw arrangement, the single-coil neck pickup cannot wobble around. What’s more, the curved design of the pickups matches the design of the bridge perfectly.
The technical-looking pot knobs have a really good feel to them. From the volume pot to the tone pot, the diameter and height of each pot knob decrease by one millimetre.
Left-handed bridges
05. 05. 2012
We’re currently making our first left-handed bridges for the Herr Schwarz 5/19 and Singer 5/19, which means the production of a left-handed version of the black gentleman and the singer is ready to go.
Left-handed bridges for the ROB 344-66/IIIa, our bass with a fanned fret system, will follow shortly. We both feel pretty giddy already just thinking about all that “everything the other way round” sanding. We’re looking forward to it. You too?
We have two new endorsers!
05. 05. 2012
On 2 May 2012, we won the support of Jonathan Ihlenfeld Cuñado.
Jonathan’s activities as a bassist are so numerous that we hardly know where to begin. He is currently playing our first ROB 344-66/IIIa, but his own one is already in the pipeline. Jonathan plays in different bands, such as Numbe:Ra, Susan Albers or his own project Join Dilaja, and is highly sought after for both his solid groove and his virtuoso solos. In addition, he is also a guest lecturer at the Conservatorium Enschede music academy (NL).

Jenz Gears aka VARTRAS has been presenting the Waran for us for several months now. Jenz is a freelance metal bassist in various bands and the author of the Heavy Bass Corner in the magazine "Bass Professor".
We are very pleased about Jenz and Jonathan’s support and are looking forward to seeing where our collaboration will take us.
